Please contact our Secretary for more information on any of our services.
As we are a parents based support organisation, we are unable to provide specific medical advice or assistance, however we may be able to provide details of practitioners who can. AABIC has no direct affiliations with any other charity or medical practitioner nor receives benefit from any referral.

AABIC recognises the burden placed on parents with the cost of undertaking therapy programmes in order to improve your child's condition and so provides subsidised financial assistance towards the cost of undertaking recognised therapies including:
- Conductive Education
- Pointer Percussion
- Neuro Developmental Therapy
- Other therapies as defined by your council

In addition to financial subsidies, we also provide assistance with the purchase of equipment. Typically AABIC will not fund items which can be obtained through more traditional funding sources, like wheelchairs, splints and walking frames. Rather we try to fill a gap in the funding cycle by assisting with equipment which would not normally funded. In the past we have funded:
- Enhanced computer keyboards, switches & electronic communication devices
- Second Skin pressure suits
- Specialised beds and chairs

A more recent avenue of funding has been through the provision of a central buyers group for incontinece pads. Recognising that these are an expensive, but necessary item for many of our members we have negotiated best possible prices for our members from local suppliers and provide a phone/mail ordering service with delivery to the home. As funds allow we also provide additional discounts to members on these items from time to time.
